Kitchen Renovation

Key Elements:

  • A galley kitchen was renovated to maximize storage and create more efficient counter space.
  • The existing mall 30″ opening that separated the kitchen and dining area was removed to create a large arch opening to match the existing archway in the dining room. This allowed for counter space in between the two rooms to serve as a buffet table when entertaining.
  • Below the buffet counter served as the perfect storage for the cat food and cat bowls that are tucked away from being knocked over. The cat food storage was an issue as you can see in the photos below.
  • Added cabinetry throughout allowed for all the clutter to be
  • Downlights were added for more efficient lighting.
  • The existing laundry / semi-pantry room was converted into an adorable powder room and a new stacked washer and dryer was relocated into the kitchen area behind closed doors. You’d never know they were there!
  • Using white cabinets and finishes created a more open and spacious feeling to the once dungeon-esk kitchen.
  • Luxurious vinyl tile provides a warm anchor to all the crisp, white finishes. It’s also very pet friendly and resistant to scratches and scuff marks.
